Hello, and welcome back to The Autistic Writer. Just a quick couple of things to mention…
Firstly, a request for input. I’m looking for thoughts and experiences from neurodivergent people regarding experiences at work. Specifically, we’re looking for the biggest red flags and green flags in recruitment, onboarding and general management of employees. The plan is to discuss these on the podcast. We’re not looking to name and shame individual employers; it’s more a case of trends and experiences. You can comment below this blog post, or email us as theAFIpod@gmail.com, message us on our Facebook page, or comment on the video.
Secondly, I just wanted to let you know about episode 17 of AFI. In this episode, my co-host David (Mortgage Advisor on FIRE) talks us through what to consider about getting your first home, including insights particularly relevant to autistic people. The question of the relative pros and cons of renting or buying is covered in detail. You can watch the video version of the episode in the viewer, below, or if you prefer your podcast audio-only, there are links to Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Audible a little further below.
That’s all for this time. Take care.
